My mind ran to Cyberpunk IMMEDIATELY as I read the article title. I feel as if this is an inevitability in our future, one that I'm personally not excited for.

It's easy to say "I won't indulge, I'm good" but the temptation of reconnecting with a loved one is all too real. I saw the same Black Mirror episode that touched upon this and it's really terrifying (as well as disheartening).

Honestly, I'm just hoping I kick the bucket before these sci-fi horrors are spawned, but the brisk speed of evolving technology fights against my wishes.
